Fall Walk 2013

We were blessed with incredible autumn weather yesterday on our JK/SK combined class trip to the conservation area.
A trip with the SK class = double the fun!

The sun shone through the clouds and the rain stayed away.
Several parents came along to enjoy the outdoors and the beauty of God's autumn masterpiece.

The children were divided into groups, each of which had both JK and SK children.
Every group was given a list of items to find and/or collect, and most of the children found everything on the list!
I must admit, Olivia's grandpa was the hero for many of us when he spotted the fuzzy caterpillar!!!
Our walk ended with some play time at the park playground.

Much thanks to the many parents who came along, and to our wonderful EA, Mrs. VanderWier, who was also our very dependable bus driver. :)
The afternoon was filled with exercise, fresh autumn air, crunchy leaves, acorns, pine cones, smiles, loads of giggles and laughter, and much much more!

Don't those smiles say it all?!?
